'The Bachelorette': Chris Harrison, ABC's battle with Reality Steve hits a peak
On Monday night's finale of "The Bachelorette", Ali Fedotowsky received her happy ending when she selected Roberto over Chris in a dramatic final episode in Bora Bora.
However, this may pale in comparison is some ways to the drama going on behind the scenes between ABC and blogger Reality Steve, otherwise known as the man largely responsible for spoiling the past few seasons of the show. Steve was recently featured in a special on E! about the show, but his footage mysteriously vanished from the program after its first airing .

Elliott Sadler Crash
NASCAR Driver Elliott Sadler Crash
The big NASCAR race this weekend in Pocono was plagued by a bit of rain. The delay was brief but once the racers were on the track, everything seemed to be going as planned. The worst part about the high speeds and raceways is the fact that accidents do happen. However, the Elliott Sadler crash on Sunday was nothing short of amazing.

Amazon Kindle Review
Amazon kindle
The new Kindle comes in two flavours: 3G and Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi only. There's a £40 difference in the two Kindles, but the choice really comes down to how you want to consume your ebook content. If you are going to be buying books on the go, then the 3G version is for you.
If you are going to restrict your book buying to your Wi-Fi enabled home, or whenever you hit a hotspot, then this is the one you want.
The size of the device itself has been significantly reduced, but without any reduction to the reading area. This stays at a decent six inches.
The new slim look definitely suits the Kindle. It now feels like the paperback version, rather than a bulky hardback.
Weight-wise, it is a full 15 per cent lighter, making this one of the most comfortable ebook readers we have held. At 247g, there is absolutely no strain on the arm – it's even lighter than most paperbacks.
And it you choose Wi-Fi only, then the weight is snipped to a stupidly lean 241g.
"Apple has sold more iPads than I'd like" Said Balmer
Steve Ballmer has admitted that Apple has sold more iPads than he'd have liked, as he defended the lack of a credible Windows 7 tablet alternative.
On the Conference, Ballmer insisted that the Windows 7 tablets would not be rushed out, but that everybody was aware of the pressing need for another options.
"They'll be shipping as soon as they are ready," Ballmer said. "It is job one urgency. No one is sleeping at the switch."

Apple iPhone 4 Bumper For Free
The new Apple iPhone 4 comes with a lot of stuff that wasn’t offered on iPhones previously, and one of those things is the Apple iPhone 4 Bumper. This bumper is not a case for your iPhone 4 but rather, just what it says it is – a slim bumper that fits around the entire edge of your iPhone 4 while leaving the back and front open.
The bumper is made of both rubber and plastic and will not only protect your iPhone 4 from bangs and dents, but also features some shock-absorbency, which is great for when you drop your device and don’t want all that delicate data inside to get scrambled. The volume and power buttons are also done in metal and are raised so you can feel for them quickly and easily, even when your iPhone is in your pocket – and you won’t even have to yank it out because you’ll just be able to feel for whichever function it is you need.
But, there might be a few things to the Apple iPhone 4 Bumper that you might still find missing. Mostly, there’s the fact that it supplies you virtually no protection to the back of your iPhone, nor does it give any protection to the screen. And that’s an area of the iPhone that users try to protect above all else.
If however, you are the lucky owner of an iPhone 4, and you think there’s enough style factor and protection wrapped up in the Bumper, you can buy it from Apple here.0
Nokia critics Apple's iPhone 4
'We prioritise antenna performance over physical design'
Nokia has hit back at Apple's claims that its iPhone 4 isn't the only phone in the world to suffer the widely publicised issues over reception.
Nokia has released a statement detailing how it is a market leader in antenna design, while Apple has only been creating handsets for a few years:
"As we've all seen, Apple had mentioned Nokia in their press conference today regarding the iPhone 4," said Nokia's statement
Complex design
"Antenna design is a complex subject and has been a core competence at Nokia for decades, across hundreds of phone models. Nokia was the pioneer in internal antennas; the Nokia 8810, launched in 1998, was the first commercial phone with this feature."
"Nokia has invested thousands of man hours in studying human behaviour, including how people hold their phones for calls, music playing, web browsing and so on.
"As you would expect from a company focused on connecting people, we prioritize antenna performance over physical design if they are ever in conflict.
"Nokia has invested thousands of man hours in studying how people hold their phones and allows for this in designs, for example by having antennas both at the top and bottom of the phone and by careful selection of materials and their use in the mechanical design."
iPhone 4 Reception Problem Solved: Free Cases For Everyone
If you were hoping that Apple would recall the iPhone 4 – well you’re nuts. Instead they’re gonna offer you a free case. We don’t know which ones, but since they can’t produce their retardedly expensive bumpers fast enough they’re gonna give you a choice of case and then send it to you. If you so happen to have bought a bumper from Apple to quell your problem they’ll refund you. Still not satisfied? You can return the iPhone 4 for a complete refund, provided of course you bought it in the last 30 days.
We’re not all that surprised that this is the route Apple took. A recall would be unwarranted since the phone isn’t unsafe, it just doesn’t always work and that is pretty much par for the course for most products. Initially, getting the free case is probably gonna be a debacle and hopefully they’ll actually provide some decent choices. We’re still not sure how it will all work, but perhaps they’ll setup some sort of online interface that allows you to punch in your AT&T info and then select a case.
The question remains whether or not Apple is updating the hardware to fix the problem. Would they have to go through FCC testing again for a slight tweak or could they modify the phone ever so slightly and get away with it? If I had bought an iPhone 4 I’d probably return the phone (we’re assuming the standard Apple restocking fee doesn’t apply) and wait until a real fix has been made. According to Steve Jobs only 0.55% of the 3 million people (16,500) that bought the iPhone 4 have called into Applecare to complain about the antenna. That number could be heavily skewed, though, considering the very issue at hand could prevent them from making that call.
So what are you gonna do? Will you return your iPhone or go for the free case?

Apple Iphone 4 Recall Warning
If Apple were to bow to pressure and issue a recall for the iPhone 4, the move would cost the company an estimated $1.5 billion, according to a senior analyst.
Apple has been heavily criticised for signal problems on its latest iPhone. Users have reported dropped calls and weakened reception when their hand covers the lower left-hand corner of the device. Apple has acknowledged that holding the phone in that way can cause signal issues, but said this was common with many handsets. A forthcoming software update will fix problems with the phone displaying an incorrect number of signal ‘bars’ but it will not resolve this issue.
US watchdog Consumer Reports issued a damning review of the iPhone 4, which stated that it definitely suffered from signal issues. The organisation said it would not be recommending the device to consumers, and there have been calls from other industry figures for Apple to recall the faulty devices.
Toni Sacconaghi, an analyst with Bernstein Research, said that although a full product recall was “highly unlikely”, such a move would cost Apple $1.5 billion. The more likely option, he said, would be for Apple to issue every iPhone 4 owner with a rubber “bumper” which fits over the stainless steel antenna band that runs around the device, and helps to reduce these signal problems. The bumpers, which come in a variety of colours, cost £25, but Bernstein estimates that giving them away to customers would cost Apple $1 per unit.
"It could be done immediately, would directly address the Consumer Report's concern, and would be financially immaterial," he said. "While it would force Apple to 'acknowledge' a design issue with the iPhone, we believe that consumers are increasingly aware of the antenna issue, and remedying it rather than dismissing or ignoring it appears most appropriate.”
Sacconaghi said this latest episode showed Apple was engaging in a worrying pattern of “hubris” and had, on occasion, seemingly purposely mislead customers and investors.
"Perhaps the bigger, longer-term concern for Apple investors is the emerging pattern of hubris that the company has displayed, which has increasingly pitted competitors (and regulators) against the company, and risks alienating customers over time.
Apple saw more than £6.5 billion wiped off its value yesterday, following the publication of the Consumer Reports review. The company’s share price fell by 4.2 per cent at one stage, although it rallied later in the day and recovered slightly at the US stock markets headed higher.

Apple iPhone 4 'Death Grip' Prompts Lawsuit
And so it begins. The so-called iphone 4 "death grip" has resulted in a class-action lawsuit, filed Wednesday on behalf of two Maryland residents who accused apple and AT&T of negligence, fraud, and deceptive trade practices, among other things.
Kevin McCaffrey and Linda Wrinn pre-ordered the iPhone 4 on June 15 and said the devices they received were "defective."
"[They] have experienced numerous dropped calls, and as a result, [they] are left with a device that cannot be used for the normal purpose and in the normal manner in which such devices are intended to be used," according to court documents.
It were filed in San Francisco a day earlier, separate cases that also alleged that Apple shipped the iPhone 4 with an unannounced defect, Bloomberg reported.

4th Generation Iphone
Great news for millions of iPhone users. A well known analyst Robert Chen from Goldman Sachs commented that Apple is expected to launch advanced fourth generation iPhone as soon as June or July this year. He said that people can expect a better camera (maybe 5 megapixels) and a better touch-screen control from the new generation phone. He expected new touch-screen casing to be similar to what Apple currently use in Magic Mouse. We are aware that Magic Mouse touchscreen was capable of detecting gestures and it could help user operate some specially designed apps like Safari browser using these gestures.
